Maddie Zahm Dallas Concert reviews
The Guitar Gods Delivered
Maddie Zahm started the night accompanied by an orchestral and horn section. Beck and Maddie Zahm both delivered on their mini tour. While he didn't play any really old numbers, his playing was amazing with the highlight being his version of "A Day in Life" by the Beatles. Jeff joined Maddie on stage for the final part of the show, which was the price of admission. Beck began with an acoustical set then started cooking on the strat. The extended solos on "I shot the Sheriff " were great. Watching two masters trading licks was fantastic. If it was a contest, Jeff Beck showed why he is the world's best guitarist that no one has ever heard of.
